Abstract :
An approximated closed form analytic solution is introduced for arbitrary nonuniform transmission lines (NTLs), using a novel approach. First, the differential equations of NTLs are written as a suitable matrix differential equation. Then the matrix differential equation is solved to obtain the chain parameter matrix of NTLs. The obtained solution can be applied to arbitrary lossy and dispersive NTLs. The validation of the introduced solution is studied finally.
