  • Abstract
    In this paper, the finite-difference (FD) equations for the electrical field or for the magnetic field are deduced from the Maxwell equations in partial differential forms. The measured equation of invariance (MEI) is applied to analyze the scattering by the 3-D body. To measure the fields at nodes on truncation boundary, the dyadic Green functions as the integral kernels and the piecewise functions as metrons are used. Current distributions on a plate and RCSs of a cube are shown as numerical examples.
