Abstract :
Attention paid to the Role of employment in the process of investment and economic growth. Summarized the analysis of the existing literature, it shows that there are two viewpoints: investment will promote the employment (promotion hypothesis); and not promote employment (null hypothesis). Used panel data about 18 cities in Henan Province, the econometric result shows that the promotion hypothesis still holds, and null hypothesis does not hold. This means that, under perspective of labor migration, the existing research conflicts each other, just because they are not able to clearly set the background of labor migration.
