Abstract :
UPnP is often used for networking, discovering, sharing of network resource from a wide range of vendors. The Intel UPnP SDK is a popular open-source developing kit of UPnP. However, there is some limitation of the SDK. It can support only one server of device in one application, and the device management is not provided. To overcome the limitation, an UPnP-based development framework (UFM) is proposed. Receiving and transferring of network message is excuted in a class encapsulated over the SDK, which acts likes a proxy of the SDK. Therefore, large-scale resource nodes can be managed with the framework. Further-development becomes easy because of classing of the SDK in the framework.
