Abstract
A machine aggregate consisting of a driving motor, the driven machine, two shafts and two gears is considered. The gear meshing for contact ratio between 1 and 2 is modeled by the cam-follower mechanism. With the use of such a mechanism most of the dynamic properties of meshing may be represented. An optimal design of the parameters of the aggregate is performed
