Abstract
With the known knowledge of the instantaneous channel gains in the uplink of multiuser OFDM/CDMA systems, adaptive bit loading algorithms are proposed to minimize the interference from an individual user. The performance of the proposed algorithm is studied in a multiuser frequency selective fading environment in terms of bit error rate, system capacity and capability of supporting high data rates. The results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the previously reported algorithms.
