Abstract
A hybridization of the finite element method (FEM) and the spectral domain method of moments is utilized in the analysis of cavity backed slot antennas mounted on an infinite ground plane. Both scattering and radiation problems were considered in this study. The cavity volume is loaded with layers of magnetized ferrite material.
