Abstract :
An inexpensive and compatible automated monitoring system for a multiboiler steam production facility has been designed. It will provide steam production data, boiler efficiencies, energy recovery data from boiler economizers, natural gas and water usage, and the monitoring of the ancillary equipment. From these data and for specific equipment, automatic corrections can be made, and noted by the facility master PC. According to the mechanical engineers involved, this is a comprehensive monitoring system that could be used by other steam production facilities. This monitoring system provides the necessary support for obtaining the maximum conversion of available waste energy to useful products
