Abstract :
A model which meets the law of grey exponent has been constructed for sequences based on the analysis of modeling mechanism in grey systems theory. And data in these sequences also meet the law of grey exponent. After the model is constructed, we make some simulations and present a numerical example. The result indicates that the prediction accuracy from this new model is much higher than that from the traditional GM(1,1) model for sequences meeting the law of grey law. The conclusions from simulations and the numerical example also indicate that our proposed model in this paper is effective and applicable for sequences meeting the law of grey law.
