Abstract :
We have demonstrated an addressable WDM laser using an electroabsorption modulated (EML) tunable laser and real-time wavelength monitoring circuit. The tuning control system can rapidly and accurately lock the setting wavelength. It is very attractive to use this kind of laser as light source in reconfigurable WDM systems.
