Abstract

This work presents a digital network HDTV (high definition TV) receiver with the capability of home networking. It communicates with the network attached storage, PVR, and PC via the Ethernet. The content protection system is based on local encryption, and the content transmission system is based on NetBIOS .DTCP over IP content protection system and DLNA guideline ver1.0 system will be adopted in the near future.
