Abstract :
The performance of channelized receiving (CR) technology is discussed and compared with the performance of other receiving technologies which are applied in electronic warfare (EW). The various technical method and components, especially the development of the components to form the channel structure, are introduced and compared. Two possible developments in channelized receiving technology in EW are proposed. The first is to attain both wide frequency coverage and high-frequency resolution based on the combination of the CR and the digital IFM (DIFM) receiver. The second is to process and recognize the signal based on the channelized distributed processing system
