Abstract :
In this paper, a novel half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) bandpass filter (BPF) is presented. A C-band four-pole filter is simulated by using HFSS and fabricated with a single layer standard printed circuit board (PCB) process. Compared with SIW BPF, the HMSIW BPF with nearly one-half reduction in size has a wider stopband. The measured results which show good agreement with the simulated results are provided.
