Abstract :
The containerised 11 kV switchroom is not a new concept, examples of these can be found throughout the world. However, the development of a containerised switchroom with fully integrated protection and control is the first of its kind in the UK. This paper describes how Schneider Electric and ScottishPower worked together as a team to design develop and deliver this fully functional integrated telecontrolled containerised switchroom
