Abstract :
A data spreading OFDM scheme is an effective scheme to improve characteristics under multi-path fading. However, the performance of the data spreading scheme under Rayleigh fading channels is not always good. To improve this problem, transmission diversity is an effective scheme and it is possible to improve performance further by combining a coding scheme. In this work, data spreading OFDM combined with STBC (space-time block codes) is proposed. As the result of simulation shows, good improvement of performance under severe Rayleigh fading environments was confirmed.
