Abstract :
The authors present an algorithm for point-target detection in infrared imagery based on the statistical threshold technique and continuousness of point-target motion trajectory for detecting a point-target from a sequence of images. The algorithm has been successfully tested on computer simulation images that include single or several point-targets with different SNR characteristics
