This paper discusses the group psychological motive of netizens in collective revelry, with network as the platform and carrier, on such hot topics as Sister Furong, Brother Sharp, Jia Junpeng, and Sister Feng. From the perspective of psychology, conformity, collective unconscious, projection, compensation, and hedonism are the main motive for Chinese netizen participation.
