Abstract :
The work presents a novel pre-equalization method for terrestrial DTV transmitters. In the proposed pre-equalizer, an equation-error adaptive IIR filtering scheme is applied, unlike conventional pre-equalization using FIR filtering. The convergence performance, such as a residual MSE, is remarkably improved due to the pole-zero modeling property of IIR filters.
