Abstract :
In this study, in order to establish the methodology to evaluate a skill of a Quarter Master when a Bridge Resource Management training is carried out, a methodology by using a Time-Varying Vector AutoRegressive Modeling procedure is proposed. That is, an instantaneous cross spectra of a time series data is used in this method. To verify the proposed method, a ship maneuvering simulator experiments on two subjects are carried out. Time series of a ship course, a yaw rate and a rudder angle are analyzed. As results, it is confirmed that we can judge the characteristics of steering of subjects by the estimated instantaneous cross spectra.
