Abstract :
An approach for the construction of non-stationary orthonormal wavelets is presented. The method allows to obtain non-stationary orthonormal infinitely differentiable compactly supposed wavelets. Furthermore, the support width of the generator of the level j in this system is less then 2t(j+2)2-j, where {t(j)} is a sequence of integers satisfying the conditions: limj→∞t(j)=∞, t(j)⩽t(j+1)⩽t(j+1), t(1)=1
