Abstract :
The pulsed electroacoustic method (PEA) has been applied to measuring space charge under AC application (50, 0.1 and 0.001 Hz) in samples degraded by water trees. It has been shown that the ion polarization in the moist sample is dominated by the quick response of space charge profiles in comparison with the dry sample, in which the rate of space charge accumulation exhibited a relatively slow response
