  • Abstract
This paper is a report and discussion of the Design TooTM workshop where K-12 educators engaged in a variety of design-based engineering projects. The intent of this workshop was to explore the role engineering design can play in meeting Washington´s state-wide learning goals outlined in the Education Reform Act. We suggest engineering design is one method K-12 educators can employ to help students learn the skills to meet the state standards
