Abstract :
In this paper, variation of output power of class E amplifier as a function of switching frequency is obtained in an analytical form. Class E amplifier is operated with varying switching frequency in order to keep zero-voltage switching and zero voltage slope switching in varying load conditions. The output power of the class E amplifier operated at the designed switching frequency was obtained already. However, the output power outside designed switching frequency was not analyzed yet. In this paper, circuit behavior outside of designed condition is formulated in an analytical form and the output power outside designed switching frequency is obtained.
