Abstract :
A systematic method of radome design is developed. It is formulated as a global optimum procedure in which the radome performance as an object function is optimized. The general approach described is successfully applied to optimal design of a two-dimensional radome structure. The method can be applied without difficulty to three-dimensional radomes of arbitrary shapes.<>
