Abstract :
A probe station has been built in the 40 to 50 GHz band to accurately measure the noise and S-parameters of MM-wave HEMT´s. The probe impedances are close to the optimum terminating impedance of the HEMT and have very low loss. This in turn is expected to enhance the accuracy of the measured noise and S-parameters. A TRL calibration using microcoax lines is being investigated. The fixture and the calibration procedure are described.<>
