Abstract
This paper presents extensions to the theory of simultaneous stabilization to the case of multiple bounded domains of stability. Extensions to the coprime factorization approach are described, and several conjectures about D-strong stability are demonstrated. Specific conditions of Di stability for two and three systems are presented. A case study shown application of this research to problems in chemical process control is presented, and relationships between model structures and the stability domains are discussed
