Abstract :
A nonlinear time-delay model for the cardiovascular system and its short-term control by the autonomic nervous system is presented. With few elements the system´s complex behaviour is mimicked. The limit cycle of the system is studied with the describing function method as a function of the model parameters. Simulation and preliminary analysis results are presented
