Abstract
A deterministic algorithm is proposed to design the optimal stack filter. The proposed algorithm can generate the optimal stack filter in one second for a window size of 9 and it can still generate the optimal stack filter for a window size of 21 although it takes about 4 hours. Experimental results reveal the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed algorithm in finding the optimal stack filter
