Abstract
A new approach has been proposed for the estimation of variables based on Heart Rate Variability during a surgical operation. The following variables, Heart Rate Variability Index, Normalized Inert Rate Variability Index and Integral Estimation have been introduced and used for the analysis and estimation of surgical procedures in 7 patients. All variables have a clear physical meaning; they are very different at various stages of the operation and facilitate the estimation of the complications of the operation
