An Intranet environment to support operation and maintenance centers

This presentation illustrates the realisation of an Intranet/Extranet application environment for Telecom Italia-Network Division, in order to support the activities of Operation Center personnel spread throughout the territory. It describes the organization of the Operation Centers, the architecture of the Intranet/Extranet environment and a few of applications currently in use on this infrastructure, It also describes the experience of using such an environment, including the advantages and the plans for future developments
