Abstract :
Autonomic computing aims to manage the complex and various computational resources in grid systems. Self-configuration is one of the important properties in autonomic computing. In order to make overlay self-configure effectively, nodes need to know the global information. Centralized model faces bottleneck problems. In decentralized model, nodes need to cooperate with each others. We present a decentralized cooperative autonomic management model. In the model, grid nodes can get global information using a mechanism of exchanging information among nodes. The information is used in both overlay self-configuring and task distribution. It can make the system have a highly efficient throughput and a low task response time.
