Abstract
Summary form only given. In this paper, electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) in a uniform magnetic field has been investigated. The wave vector is parallel to the magnetic field. Energy and trajectory of electrons have been obtained from Lorentz equation and magnetic energy force simultaneously. We consider the effect of spatial evolution of wave, and more importantly, the phase difference between the wave and particle. The effect of standing waves and the collision on electron cyclotron resonance has been founded and the results related to the dynamics of the problem have been illustrated. The electron trapping has many effects. It changes energy gain and collision effect, also determines the electron distribution function dependence on electron cyclotron frequency and the bulk property of electron cyclotron resonance.
