  • Abstract
    The unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) is being used as a universal active power conditioning device to mitigate both current and voltage harmonics at a distribution side of power system network. This paper emphasis enhancement of power quality by using UPQC with fuzzy logic controller (FLC) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) controller wrt the conventional proportional-integral (PI) controller. The proposed FLC and ANN are capable of providing good static and dynamic performances compared to PID controller.
