Abstract :
This paper develops a gear shifting dynamics simulation system of a typical automatic transmission based on Matlab/Simulink. Several simulation technology problems due to modeling methodology are discussed and solved mainly. The simulation system can be used to analyze the dynamic characteristic of automatic transmission during gear shifting, and can be used for shift controller development.
