Abstract
For providing undisturbed operation measures between fiber optic cable and OHL mounted on the same poles it is necessary to standardize them accordind to an European level. Currently, these standards are outdated; technological development has changed the structure design of fiber optic cables, making them much lighter. Considering the structural changes, the present situation in Romania is described and regulation proposals are presented.
