Abstract
With an increased activities in the area of wireless applications, the role of antennas has been expanding and changing. Active integrated antenna is a new technology that integrates planar antennas with active solid state devices so that a number of interesting functions can be realized at low cost. This paper reviews the effort of primarily the author´s group on active integrated antennas for wireless applications
