Abstract :
Amino acid strings (proteins) have been modeled as electrical ladder circuits and the frequency responses of these circuits have been computed. An analysis of the computational results indicates that the electrical ladder analogs can prove useful in tracking changes in protein composition and protein structure (e.g. metabolic pathways) without resorting to expensive lab experiments.
