  • Abstract
    This paper presents a method for evaluating the dynamic characteristics of AC contactors. A single AC contactor is tested and the parameters which closely interrelated to the important performance of the AC contactor are obtained specialized with the closing process. The method is to deal with fuzziness to combine these dynamic parameters which affect the contact´s dynamic response into one index that represent an overall estimate of how well the character was when evaluating the switch quality, namely the fuzzy evaluation of contact´s dynamic characteristics. Both the stair evaluation and multi-level evaluation are introduced. In addition, fuzzy decision calculating system is designed and implemented by C program, and partly illustrated on the program frame.
