  • Abstract
This paper involves an experiment in using the Testing and Test Control Notation version 3 (TTCN-3) for developing conformance testing suites of simple car light system based on Automotive Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR). Firstly, general structure of TTCN-3 testing system and theory of AUTOSAR standard are introduced. Then, some main steps are identified that one may consider when trying developing conformance testing system using TTCN-3. Finally, some executable test suites pass through the test system successfully, after that, some experimental results are given. Experiment is used to verify the feasibility of test system. The key element is the abstract test suite (ATS) in TTCN-3 which needs to be compiled into a target programming code (e.g. Java) before testing activities can be performed through a test management tool. In this paper, we use TTthree as a compiler and μTTman as a small test management tool.
