Abstract :
Jet grouting soil-cement-Pile strengthened Pile (JPP) is a new kind of composite pile composed of high pressure jet grouting pile and prestressed concrete core pile, this technology has more advantages, for example, High bearing capacity, being constructed quickly, good economic performance and so on, and is very suitable for using in soft area. Main combination forms, technical characteristics and on-site detection methods of JPP pile are introduced. JPP pile is a new type of composite pile and its capacity calculation is not perfect. Considering possible damage patterns and composite features of JPP pile, a simplified calculation method for ultimate bearing capacity is proposed, and its adjustment factor formula is also put forward, finally this method´s validity is verified by engineering example. There is some practical significance for guiding engineering practice by using this calculation method.
