Abstract
The key features of the cold-cathode magnetrons whose secondary-emission current is produced by primary-electron bombardment from the autoelectronic emitter are embodied in: a) the make up and technological aspects of the cathode assembly; b) pumping process; c) training of devices; d) the criteria of the emission evaluation parameter; e) reliability; f) a long life expectancy. In the present report special attention is focused on peculiar ways of obtaining the operating current from the magnetron´s cold cathode.
