Abstract
We realized a new type of terahertz radiation by an ultrafast supercurrent modulation in high-T/sub c/ superconductors with femtosecond laser pulse irradiation. Sub-/spl mu/W radiation into free space with a pulse width of 0.4 ps was detected.
