Abstract :
We demonstrate for the first time, low error rate transmission of 200 Mb/s BPSK data at 37 GHz using a hybrid mode-locked monolithic DBR laser. In addition we demonstrate low error-rate data transmission up to 500 Mb/s over an optically fed wireless link at 37 GHz which is suitable for picocellular communications and indoor wireless networks.
