Abstract
We consider the design of a ubiquitous system that aims to strengthen affective bonds with, and to allow support for, family members, especially for distant relationships. It is based on wearable computers that evaluate emotions, health and activities, then transmit the information to authorized persons, and enable interactions. Our most significant contribution is to provide the design for an everyday life system that focuses on emotions, health and activities, and takes into account age specificities as well as emotional design.
