Abstract
List analysis was conducted to determine the loading of agricultural non-point source pollution (NPSP) in Huangshi, Hubei Province and water quality caused by agricultural NPSP was evaluated by set pare analysis. The results showed that the absolute discharge amount of COD, BOD5, total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) from agricultural NPSP were 3.64, 1.90, 1.20, and 0.13 thousand ton per year. Agricultural NPSP was over half of the total water pollution loading and it should be reduced. Discharge concentration of COD, BOD5, TN and TP caused by agricultural NPSP was 15.50, 8.08, 5.09 and 0.55 mg·L-1, respectively. Water quality in both Yangxin county and District was Class V water, but that in Daye city was inferior Class V water. Those should be paid close attention to.
