Abstract :
From November 1995 to June 1996, LABORELEC carried out a comprehensive test program on cable accessories for 36 kV networks. This report treats comparative tests on 36 kV indoor terminations, straight joints and plug-in cable systems for XLPE cable and transition joints between XLPE and paper cable. Tests were based on Belgian standards NBN C68-204, but were designed to obtain a maximum of information concerning the quality of today´s technology in this field
