Abstract
Thanks to the latest modifications of reglementations, economic and industrial perspectives, and thanks to the improvement of technology, combined heat and power production is expanding in most industrialized (or on the way to be industrialized) countries. According to this general evolution and to the European Union instructions for liberation of power production, the French market of CHP production is growing. Specific technical problems are created by generators which are continually connected to existing production, distribution and users systems. These problems are listed in this paper where GEC ALSTHOM provides industrial solutions.
