  • Abstract
    The generation of curves is always an important research and application topic in the fields of computer graphics, CAD/CAM and image processing. In this study, we present a new generation algorithm for cubic curves. This algorithm is of double-step incremental type and obeys simple recurrence formulae. Furthermore, it is simple, easy to use and is suited to hardware implementation. This algorithm is of high speed because only one logic discriminator is applied at each iterative step.
