Abstract
This technical paper aims at description and implementation of a synchronous condenser predictive maintenance aid, which is structured in two modules. The first one describes the acquisition, storage and signal transmission sensed by vibration, temperature and pressure sensors. The second one describes the diagnosis module bases on fuzzy logic to aid the technical personnel on the synchronous condensers mechanical fault detection. The system uses the Eletronorte corporative intranet allowing remote analysis and visualization at several places, avoiding specialists on site inspection, reducing costs and becoming the solutions faster and more efficient.
