Abstract :
For pt. I see ibid., p.737-42, (2004). Electromagnetic environment of substations are characterized as all electric and magnetic field generated by installed power and electronic devices, even under steady-state conditions. In this paper steady-state electric and magnetic field measurements in substations are presented. Values are analyzed considering installation layout and connections. Steady-state electromagnetic couplings are analyzed in order to verify how fields interact inside substation. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and procedures are referred. Significant coupling effects are identified and analyzed under EMC point of view.
